There is now only one ferry that goes daily over to Tea Gardens.😀

There is only one original Tea Gardens Ferry Service. The first ferry of the day departs from Nelson Bay at 8.00am, then 11.30am and 3.30pm and they depart from Tea Gardens at 10.am, 2.30pm at 5.00pm  (depending on conditions)

The Original Tea Gardens Ferry (100 seats) leaves from the Public Wharf at 40 Victoria Parade (next to our office)  and are dog friendly (as long as they are well behaved).
Electric bike owners must remove their battery and panniers before boarding. $5.00 per bike each way. Golf bags are free. Click button below for more information.

Cost (as at 26th Sept 2025) is $42 return for adults and $38 return with a valid seniors card. Children (4 - 14 yrs) are $25 return and $5 return for 0 -3 year old's.  Companion/carer card holders are $30. return.
